  • VF-19 *Gray-Wolves* (Primary Manifest)

VCF-19 has 12 Raptor class fighters with 12 Pilot Officers and 36 Enlisted Techs assigned.

    History:

The Asgard being in a dangerous section of space was assigned 2x Raptors as part of VQ-3. Later though when more trouble was expected they expanded to 4x Raptors and became 2nd flight of VF-19. However times are fighter assets are not available as required, during those situations composite squadrons are formed to fill a need. These Squadrons are not normally maintained longer then the need that made them necessary. When the Asgard is assigned an escort mission the only Raptors available were a marine unit aboard the USS RedCloud. Since the RedCloud had extra pilots they moved two marine pilots over to the Asgard along with three Raptors (total of 4 Raptors). Thus was formed the 2nd flight of the VCF-19 Gray-Wolves.

Now they are back to a full squadron as the Asgard is upgraded to an Akira class.
